Best dating site for relationships, not hook ups

I think OKCupid works fine. You just need to be very clear in your profile-don't try to sound too friendly and accommodating. It's pretty easy to screen out the people who are just looking for hookups.

Thank. I am 38 and my age range right now starts at 34. Yet they match me with 31 year olds all the time - who of course do not contact me!

Do you think eharmony has enough of a rep for being a "relationship" sight that the men who are on there might be more relationship minded?

Even men on eHarmony aren't placing a prerequisite on relationship before anything else like women do. We don't even know if we want to spend another date with you, get it?

Don't be so sure that the young guys aren't interested in you. I just turned 50 and I find that I mostly have been in relationships with guys about 10 years younger.

I though it was insane at first and was sure that they just wanted to get laid and not have to worry about someone wanting kids. Turns out that the majority wanted a real relationship. You can screen out the others quickly.

However, make sure that they really don't want kids before getting deeply involved. Because, for me, that was a non-starter. I wasn't going to have any more kids -- even if adopted or through surrogacy.

As long as you aren't lying about your age, don't assume that the guys have a problem with it.
