Daniel Tiger for a first grader? |
|
Boy -
Tom & Jerry Alvin and the Chipmunks (with his little brother) Star Wars Clone Wars |
My first grader watches Daniel Tiger. And Sesame Street. Also Wild Kratts. |
| Almost 7 year old girl's favorite show right now is Tom and Jerry (the old ones, I think there is a new show out there too). |
My first grader likes Little Einsteins, Mickey Mouse Club and other shows geared toward smaller children. He would never admit to watching them, though, to his friends. He only talks about Ninjago and Lego Star Wars and other "big kid" shows with friends. He watches those, too. |
|
Boy - Wild Kratts. He's obsessed. He got the power suit costume for Christmas one year, and we even went to see a live show. An entire theater full of 4 to 8 year olds, all dressed up in power suit vests. It was hilarious.
That's really his only show, though. Sometimes he'll watch a football game with Dad, or some other random PBS show, but there's nothing else he follows. |
| All my K and first grader want to watch now are videos of adults playing Mario on YouTube. |

She also likes some HGTV shows (which she watches with me :lol & will watch an occasional sporting event with the family (the Women's World Cup last summer, for instance).

Don't be. She's academically gifted and her school has recommended that she skips to the 2nd grade but I declined. |
