It's getting old, though. Time for new shtick.

It's actually not entertaining, because it's predictable and juvenile. Not at all witty.

I thought that the Broadway director for the school musical was very witty.

I think the posts are funny and great. 11:25, you sound like a real jerk.

My kids went to nearby Westbrook, but I'd definitely send a child to Somerset.

The facility is really nice and feels so small and intimate.

My friends who are there are happy.

I hope you're in the part of Somerset where you get to use that beautiful town pool. We visited there for a swim meet, and it looks like a great way to meet people.

Somersets a great school with many committed parents. My kids go there. There's good Asian and Latino diversity but few AA families. The few there are actually African, not AA. The lunches are crap, same as all MoCo schools. The K team of teachers are without a doubt, all total gems. That said, there is intense pressure to read, write, and do math very very early. Kids are encouraged to write sentences in K. There's something to be said about attending a neighborhood school that has nothing to do with academics. My kids have so many friends in the neighborhood and I've met so many parent friends too.

Does anyone know if Somerset ES will be open tomorrow?

2 hour delay. And I will say that there are plenty of kids in aftercare, but not so many that you can't do the drop-in option, which is what I do since I work part time with unpredictable hours. Ebony Ellis, the head of the aftercare program, is really wonderful and runs a tight ship. I don't know one kid or parent who is unhappy with Somerset aftercare.
