Here's the company we planned to use...but then I got pregnant. Sigh. Friends highly recommended it.

Interesting, I have been to all of these places in the BVI and didn't like it that much. I would go to St. Barths.

Really not even Anegada? Too bad. I always thought it would be interesting, with good snorkeling.

I know! Or JVD? The pp sounds like a total snob, impossible to please, or BOTH.

Soggy Dollar Bar, The Willie T, Sandy Cay, The Last Resort .... so many fun things to do and see in the BVIs...

We just did this exact type of vacation and it was amazing!! It was a gift from a relative. We went to the following places: JVD, Anegada (really hard to get to unless you have a small boat because of reefs), Virgin Gorda, St. Peter's, and Norman Island.

Our highlights were:

Anegada: lobster dinner right on the beach
Megan's Bay: we anchored here 2 nights. My kids loved it here because it is calm, we could jet ski and airhead (big raft), and nice beach. This is the only place we could jet ski. Not allowed in BVI.
Virgin Gorda: The Baths. Amazing! Make sure to get there first thing in the morning. It gets very busy by 10 am. We just swam in from our boat. Good to have water shoes as rocks can get slippery.
St. Peter's Island: when you dock here you can use their amenities. Nice pool and bar. I had a relaxing massage at their spa. Great beach where my kids snorkeled and kayaked. They also had windsurfers and paddle boards.
Norman Island: great snorkeling at the Indians (underwater caves there too but we ran out of time) and the most amazing star gazing at night.

It truly was a trip of a lifetime!

Sounds awesome! Which company did you use to charter (if you chartered)?

I think it was booked through Exclusive Resorts. The boat is called the Sea Legend. We loved the crew too! Very accommodating.

What's a trip like that cost?
