My son loves going to preschool and calls his teachers "good friends"! teachers are wonderful and communicate well!! In addition, the teachers upload pix to Shutterfly so parents can observe classroom activities.

Last year my son attended another nearby preschool but hated it and resisted walking into the building and classroom sometimes (I didn't like it either).

Do you mind if I ask which preschool?

PP 12/23/2015 01:00 here -- Son's former preschool was Building Blocks. I liked the atmosphere, director and curriculum but when my son attended, it was undergoing transition so he moved classes several times thus contributing to his discontent, and mine! I felt as if the many of the teachers (in the 3 classrooms he was in) did not communicate well with me and some were not friendly towards me and/or ignored me when I tried to converse (unlike son's prior daycare/preschool--I am still friendly with former teachers, FB friends, etc.). That said, other parents at BB are happy and LOVE the school (even raising money for it) so I guess we were the odd balls.

I think Columbia Baptist (teachers, staff, program) is awesome! I was initially concerned that the teaching approach was not as "educational" but my son is exposed to so much and thriving socially (teamwork, getting along, conversation).
