That is gross, but if you've addressed it directly with no result, it's time to move on. At least she's washing her hands...just keep Clorox wipes on hand to wipe down the door handle when she's not around.

What does your husband think/say about this, just out of curiosity?

Do you have paper towels or guest towels (paper) in the bathroom? If not maybe she is grossed out by the communal towels in the bathroom and wants access to disposable towels in the kitchen.

I know it could be worse and this is kind of a silly pet peeve but it is what it is.

How would you handle it?

Do you have paper guest towels in the powder room? Some people (myself included) cannot stand the thought of using a towel that someone else has wiped their hands on . Now that is gross.

She comes out of the bathroom with pee and poop on her hands? I can't say that I have ever seen adult get urine or feces all over their hands from wiping. Hmm...

OP I feel your pain. I once had a household employee who used to drive me nuts. Luckily she was only in my house about 4 hours every other day. I started "hiding" the kitchen paper towel everytime she was around, thankfully she finally got to the habit of washing in the bathroom cos I was about to turning kitchen water off lol.
