Party menu - ideas and suggestions, please.

Go to Trader Joes. Buy 10 packages of appetizers. Heat and serve.

I think Jambayla could be a good idea. It's easy to serve in an 8-12 oz styrofoam cup. I've done something similar with chili and it worked fine.

But you do need more substantial food, especially since you are serving drinks.

Then it will forever be remembered as the holiday party that not only served jumbalaya, but served it in styrofoam cups.

Honey baked ham with little rolls (like the Hawaiian rolls, or the tiny little Martins potato rolls, or the "wheel"of rolls from Great Harvest bread company) to make little sandwiches

Turkey Breast with little rolls

Oh, whatever, there are plenty of festive serving options. My point was it is as easy as finger food to eat while standing at a cocktail party.

Its really hard to hold a plate, bowl, and drink while standing or sitting anywhere but a table.

Holy shit. My thought was heavy finger foods in addition to what I had listed - not a full meal.

It's not a full meal, but people need to be (somewhat) full. Most won't eat dinner first. Grapes and water crackers won't cut it.
