Are there Fortune 500 companies you wouldn't want to work for?

Anyplace that requires me to wear a polyester uniform or nametag, that makes me clean public bathrooms, that makes me pick weeds in the summer sun, or that makes me remove slate from an inclined northern roof. Been there, done that.

I wouldn't work for companies that skew young and embrace the late night, work 24/7 culture. I get in, get my work done and get home every night for dinner. No amount of money is worth being always on the clock.

Yes, I need to create value for society. I work in the public sector and have a good paycheck (to me).

I would not work for WalMart or a defense/weapons company. And in general, I would want a company to prioritize humans over maximizing profits. How they do that can take many different approaches.
