Sign up for a few mailing lists from The Limited, Ann Taylor, Banana Republic, etc. They regularly have 40-50% off sales (maybe every 4-6 weeks?) that include the sales rack.
The Limited had $30 pants one day, so I bought 3 pairs (black, gray, brown). I wear them almost every week and no one notices
