Going straight to donor egg for secondary infertility?

I am on my 2nd DE pregnancy in my 40's. Both pregnancies were non eventful (no GD, high BP, etc.). I also liked the fact that my risks were much lower than using OE - miscarriage, downs, etc.

OP, I think it's something you should discuss with your oncologist and RE. With your AMH and FSH numbers, I think trying naturally is highly unlikely to succeed and you may not want to waste a year. Your numbers sound feasible for using your own eggs and IVF, but it could take multiple cycles and with your family history of cancer, I'm not sure it would be worth it to you to risk the hormones from multiple cycles. But I think real Drs can give you more informed answers to your questions.

OP, I got pregnant on my own with an AMH of .3. Took 10 months. I'm almost 39. My FSH is 4.3 though.
I took a lot of supplements that were supposed to increase egg quality and fertility in general--vit D, DHEA, Coq10. I also used progesterone to support my luteal phase. There are supposedly foods and supplements that will lower FSH--wheatgrass being one. If I were you, I would not do donor egg yet. You can always do it next year. You've not been to an RE yet? You need to go pronto.
