Help!! Anyone know a good way to baby-proof a bunk bed ladder??

For all those suggesting plywood or blocking the ladder with a product, what do I do when my son just scoots up the incline with his feet and his hands on the rails anyway and can still get up to the rest of the rungs? Lol

This seems like the best option.

We put a nightstand against the ladder because of space constraints, but it would work for your needs too. Big kids can climb over it, but a one year old wouldn’t be tall enough. Do you have a piece of furniture you can move?

I keep telling everyone to make absolutely sure the bedroom door is shut at all times, but people keep forgetting and I've ran in there terrified over a dozen times so far to find him playing on the top bunk. I found a product called ToddleLock, but it's $50. Wondering if there is a DIY way to do it (other than removing the ladder of course)

How about just closing the door...

Turn the ladder side toward the wall. That’s what we did

Can you post a picture of the bed?
