Anyone happy with MCPS middle school?

Happy at Julius West.

They provided additional support when my 6th grade had a hard time transitioning. I didn't even have to ask. They saw him struggling and reached out to me even before back to school night.

I wasn't sure about Gaithersburg, but my boys are doing well there.

My oldest son scored really high on a state test. His English teach took note and began giving him more challenging assignments, ensuring he wasn't slipping through the masses.

I'm the PP who posted about being happy at TPMS. Haven't heard anything about bullying--do you mean this year? an you elaborate? Very curious.

Happy at North Bethesda MS. They do a great job transitioning the 6th graders. Teachers are solid. Principal and staff are terrific, the atmosphere is just very positive.

Very happy at the MCPS middle school. It has amazing teachers and wonderful curriculum. My child is enriched and accelerated. A lot of opportunities are made available to him. He is reaching his full potential. He is thriving in all ways - socially, emotionally, academically.

JW is terrific.

Pyle is an amazing place. Very big but principals, teachers, counsellors are so dedicated and make it feel smaller.
