How much did your Disney vacay cost in peak season?

We rented a house off site with another family and spent $450 each for a week. A tad inconvenient but the only way we were able to make it work financially. Caveat - it was not spring break. I'm sure the rental is much more then - but something you might want to look into. Our house had pool too - so the kids had a great time.

Fwiw, you can do a four night cruise on disney wonder for $3k. That includes cabin, meals and shows. Also includes room service. Flights to Miami might be $400. Excursions like snorkeling with stingrays or swimming with dolphins will be extra.

We opted for a cruise after pricing out the parks and deciding we really didn't want to deal with lines.
