what's crazy is that he said he was such a student of the game, and then to worry about $100 on the last leg of the race!?

Agree completely. I have no interest in social media stars - how incredibly vapid. Like you, I enjoy seeing regular people meeting (or not) the challenges of AR. I'm disappointed that they're going in this direction and hope they revert back to normal after this next season.

He spent part of every episode sobbing about something or other - what a drama queen. He'll be haunted for the rest of his life about how they "should have" won but lost it due to a taxi mistake. Uh, yeah - sometimes taxi drivers won't wait around for you, especially if you refuse to tip them. That was such a dick move. I couldn't even stand to listen to his histrionics and bragging. That was karma coming back to bite him. He was such a braggart - ugh. So, so glad they didn't win. I was really happy Kelsey and Joey won. They seemed nice and normal. Couldn't stand the constant mean-spirited bickering between Chris and Logan.

Total armchair diagnosis but I wonder if he's bipolar. He swung from happiest guy in the world to sobbing to cocky to hysterically angry to skipping along to bawling. I have to believe his fiancé knows what's up. He is just Not Normal.

I just thought it was his edit. Not to say I don't think he's a massive jerk and braggart, but to juxtapose his sobbing against "Oh, we're so going to win!" felt like editing. But I don't think him talking smack to Joey & Kelsey when the 2 teams were working on the Adirondack chairs was editing.

Diana did get pissed at Justin when he was being rude to the taxi driver in China.

I really liked her. She seemed normal. I like how she interacted with children. (Being around kids seemed to actually bring Justin back down to reality.)

I liked Justin and Diana when they were just racing and not playing the game or talking up their strategy. Or Justin's strategy. I'm sure they'll be back for the next all-star round. They talked about getting married and having kids but I bet Justin won't let her get pregnant until after all stars. And they'll name their first born Phil.

For those that follow the TV ratings game, this show has not done well most of the season, and the finale actually dropped in the demo.

The talking smack was so incredibly annoying. He couldn't just focus on what they were doing - no, he had to constantly check out Joey and Kelsey and cheer when they would make a mistake. I have to think he's just about the most insecure person I've ever seen. Diana should run and run fast.

It does not surprise me that this show didn't do well with ratings... many of the teams were just kind of "meh." (I don't have high hopes for next season.)

I was just reading an Amazing Race wiki about Justin. His occupation is "Morning Radio Personality." Well, that certainly explains a lot!!!!

He's 39, too. I put him 10 years younger based on how he acted. (But I did notice a serious balding pattern.) Diana is 30 years old.
