Possible autism?

I'm poster 19:08. My child with ASD-type behaviors has no visible gross motor delays, with the exception of W sitting. But she's nowhere near knowing how to ride a bike, fatigues easily when walking, has an awkward run, etc.

I asked because OP named language and social traits associated with ASD, but not physical.

I don't know why anyone would rush to autism with these symptoms. It sounds like an auditory processing issue or language based memory issue.

My DC with Aspergers asked repetitive questions like that and parroted back questions asked of him at around age 2-3. If your child has awkward social skills have a look at the books for his age level on Social Thinking at socialthinking.com. That has been a very important approach for us. There are a few therapists in the area who do social thinking with kids.
