I'm poster 19:08. My child with ASD-type behaviors has no visible gross motor delays, with the exception of W sitting. But she's nowhere near knowing how to ride a bike, fatigues easily when walking, has an awkward run, etc. I asked because OP named language and social traits associated with ASD, but not physical. |

I don't know why anyone would rush to autism with these symptoms. It sounds like an auditory processing issue or language based memory issue. |
| My DC with Aspergers asked repetitive questions like that and parroted back questions asked of him at around age 2-3. If your child has awkward social skills have a look at the books for his age level on Social Thinking at socialthinking.com. That has been a very important approach for us. There are a few therapists in the area who do social thinking with kids. |
