Runs really small and shrinks. I'll do some basics, including fleeces, but am generally unimpressed by quality and fit.
Carters, on the other hand, seems to wear really well for my daughter - for about the same cost. Gap gets mixed reviews for quality and fit in my house. Boden quality is amazing, but my daughter generally doesn't like their styles. |
| Runs small. I like ON for toddlers though because everything my kids wore at that age got covered in paint. For my older kids, I use it for basics like bike shorts to wear under dresses. |

| I agree that Old Navy is better than Children's Place. ON is cuter. CP looks trashy to me. Although Children's Place is very cheap! Got snow big for about $15. |

I try to buy used. But if not used I buy Tea Collection or Mini Boden. It is really hard to find reputable clothing manufacturers but I haven't heard of exposes of either of those companies. I am trying to buy less too. Definitely not perfect, but I'm trying on this front. |

We bought a lot of Old Navy for our toddlers--leggings, jeans, graphic tees, and pajamas (they have some really cute pajamas). When I learned about their terrible labor practices, I stopped buying it, but I've never had any trouble in terms of clothing durability. Some Old Navy items lasted through three rounds of hand-me-downs.
I just could not justify buying Boden for a toddler unless it was on sale. They wear things for such a short period of time, and everything is going to get spills and smears on it. I do also like Lands End. Everything we've bought has been well-made and durable. |
| I agree with the PPs that said if you like Children's Place, you'll be fine with Old Navy. IMO, they are both around the same quality and price point. They are both cheap, fabrics are thin, and quality control is poor. That said, I still shop at both places and love both of them, especially for toddlers who outgrow their clothes so quickly and get them dirty easily. I never worry about getting those clothes stained. |
