Why are you still married?

Eww...This is all gross, specifically number one and two. Blech.

So you are basically stating that your wife is disgusting. Who can disagree w/you, especially since you provided such excellent examples to us....

Did you want advice? Or just to vent??

I would say either she change her ways, or you will change your marital status.

Nothing sounds more un-romantic then what you just disclosed.

This is my question.

Seriously you are just a masochist if you stay with someone like this. There is zero reason.

I want to see my child almost every day -- so I can provide sanity for her. I am told that in all probability, e will have joint custody, but DD will spend more time with the SAHM than with me.

The barfing -- is that bulimia or alcohol-induced?

If alcohol-induced, do you mean she got blotto while solo parenting the children when you were traveling? That's a problem. Well, bulimia is a problem, too, but...

She sounds a bit feral.

What are you doing to help her besides vent on an anonymous message board and yell at her?

She is not an alcoholic and I don't think she is bulimic. I have been trying to get her to get to a counselor for depression for years.

Maybe it's time for an ultimatum.

As always with this poster, there is just some weird anecdote with no details and no follow up and no context whatsoever and no explanation of why he stays.

And as always, there is probably some harmless explanation.

People don't barf for no reason. I'm guessing she wasn't always this disgusting and it developed over the years. Seek help asap. Contact your primary care doctor first.

Absolutely remarkable that so many DCUM readers respond seriously to this troll. I've never done a troll post, but the gullibility quotient on this forum actually tempts me.

Not that I have time for that what with all the ass scratching and puking in the sink I do.

My ex DIL was like OP's wife. Add in a filthy house, being high on pills and I'd think she was OP's wife's sister.

I have pictures to prove it too.

Seriously? Are you the OP's wife?

OP here. I think item #2 is trying to be funny.

As for the throwing up in the sink, it is something she does. She throws up in the Bathroom sink too, meaning you have to clean it out. I have asked her about it. (it does not happen often).

Item three is annoying, mostly her wearing my clean undies as I might think I have two pairs left when I don't.

I was a little terse with the initial post. I am 99% sure she is clinically depressed, but she denies it. She wants to make it look like everything is perfect to the outside world. She live life comparing herself to others through Facebook.

I have thought about divorce, but keep thinking one should not divorce someone who is mentally ill.
