Halloween is not an excuse to dress like a whore...

Huh. We are not creative so we went to both Target and Wal-Mart and found plenty of normal, non-slutty Halloween costumes. Not sure where you're looking.

And slutty. It is so ugly.

I get what you are saying.
Was at a middle school dance last night. A fair number of sexy kittens, vamped up wonder womans, short-skirted cleopatras.

Is that what sex workers are dressing like, these days? I didn't know that!

In any case, if that is what sex workers are dressing like, these days, then Halloween evidently is an excuse to dress like a whore. What OP meant is: Halloween should not be an excuse to dress like a whore, in OP's opinion.

I see "whore" as an occupation just like "fireman", or "princess", or "presidential candidate", which is the reason it is an inappropriate thing to call your husband's mistress (in most instances I have read about on DCUM). However, since pretty much every costume I saw yesterday was "fireman", "princess", or "Donald Trump", I think this is probably the one time a year where it may be acceptable to say a woman looks like a whore.

But unless your husband was paying his coworker for sex, she is in fact a lawyer, a programmer, or a GS-15. She is not a whore.

Wonder woman Halloween costumes are actually more modest than the Lynda Carter version...

My 12 yr old gets $20, two trips to Goodwill and directions to the craft store. She makes her own costumes. They're never slutty costumes.

I sew her costumes, but thanks for the tip. I know not everyone can sew or make crafty things.

Oh, damn. I misread the appendix in the kinderwhore guidebook.

OP thank goodness you made this post because I have never heard someone say the same thing a million times again and again not even once ever. Very insightful and original.

And, more generally, I don't think that people panic enough about young women wearing skimpy clothing.

There's a huge difference between a child under the age of 18-19 and women in their 20s and up. I agree that kids shouldn't be allowed to dress provocatively but once they are college age +, where is the harm? It's fun, lighten up.

I agree with you, OP!
