Kate Middleton Fertility

Oh for crying out loud!
She was around 30 when they married, not 80. And they had children quickly. She probably has normal fertility, like around 95% of the women of her age?

I'm a bit surprised given how thin she is. I'm about the same size and had stopped ovulating as a result. I was told that the vast majority of women as thin as I was are not ovulating or ovulating with enough regularity to get pregnant easily, although there are exceptions (Nicole Ritchie).

i thought diana was pretty open about having to go through this.

Considering Diana had William at 20, Charles would have been the bigger cause for concern then.

The speculation on this site regarding her size, fertility, hair, etc. is pretty sickening. This is a beautiful, healthy, normal woman and it's clear some posters can't stand it and want to find ways to tear her down. Pathetic.

Exactly. But I'm sure there was some kind of screening/health exam. And maybe it did take them a while for their first. Everyone said she was waiting so as not to upstage the queen for the diamond jubilee, but who know.

I could see the shock if she was 40, or even in her very late 30s, but not at 30.

What!? She is thin, not anorexic. She takes care of herself. Hater.

Agreed. Nicole Richie gained weight before she got pregnant though. It's only recently she went back to scary skinny levels.

And Kate seemed a bit healthier before she gave birth. This time around she really seems to have gone overboard.

I find this conjecture absurd. They were in love and have unlimited resources- you think of her tests were iffy he would have not married her? When you are infertile and on infertility forums it feels like everyone is- but in reality MOST people their age have no issues. I conceived and birthed three kids between 30 and 35 the first month of not preventing. Not buying this conspiracy theory at all. She isn't a brood mare.

I got pregnant on my first try when I was 25 and wore a size 00, weighing in at 105 lbs, (I'm 5'4"). I look back and I see that I was downright bony back then. Even very thin women can still conceive.

Reading comprehension? I said I was about the same size and never said I was anorexic (I'm not). Low BMI is correlated with infertility - that is a fact, so she's fortunate that she was able to conceive so easily. Good for her - no hate here.

Diana was tested for virginity, not fertility. And she was barely 19 when she was married so she had tons of time to get knocked up. William and Kate had already been living together for a while. I doubt she was subjected to any sort of invasive exam.

Based on Prince Harry's exploits, I'm betting the family felt like an heir was a lock, one way or another.
