| Those of you who had facials - Is there a good way to get rid of the blackheads yourself? Products? Or is the facial the best thing you can do? |
I use the biore strips on my chin and nose. It works for a day and then they are right back the next. |

Maybe it depends on your skin, but I found facials to do NOTHING. A big fat waste of money.
Now a good massage on the other hand, can do wonders. Sure, both wear off. Everything wears off eventually (manicures, pedicures, haircuts) But man, to relieve stress for even awhile is just wonderful. |
| I think you should try the facial just once. Some people are saying "whatever you prefer" but how can you really know you prefer one over the other if you haven't tried it? |
| I think you should skip it altogether and go and eaaaaaaaaaaaaaaatttttttttttttttttttttt.... |
| Where can you get a light chemical peel? I am in MoCo. |
My place is in Ashburn, it is a spa that is associated with a large dermalogical practice. However, the light peel does not have to be done under the dermalogical supervision, it is done in the spa. Do you have any sort of Med Spa in your area (I'm sure you do)? I did a quick google on Med Spas in MD and a ton of places came up. I must say, they are wonderful, it is so nice to have the dead layer peeled off, the skin underneath is so smooth and is completely removes the shallower of blackheads-the deep ones need extraction. |
