Ideas for generating extra holiday cash?

If you have any special skills, you can always do upwork, fiverr or task rabbit. I've only used upwork, but it was pretty good. I am a grant writer, and picked up extra gigs there.

She's been able to rack up quite a balance (about $300 in a couple months). We cash out gift cards and use them on Amazon all the time.

ONLY do the survey's, don't sign up for any free trials or whatever unless you're legitimately interested in free trials. If any of the surveys ask for an email address, create another one on GMAIL or something to use just to generate survey money.

It's worth taking a look at:

Good luck!

I second this website! I've been on here for 4-5 months and have made over $400 (about $100 a month). It's great to have the extra cash to use for special outings or gifts. It's easy to do while watching TV. I highly recommend signing up and testing it out. It's free to sign up. There are surveys as well as offers and other trials - some are completely free to do (like newsletter sign ups). It's well worth it for my family.

I do swagbucks - same idea as this site - but I would hardly say it's amounted to that much. I think I netted maybe a $100 in amazon gc last year? The highest amount of points always comes from the trial offers which require you to sign up with a credit card and then cancel and even then sometimes you get stuck calling and calling.

PP here from 20:22. I have never once submitted my CC information on anything, I'm not stupid. If it asks for an email address, I use another alias I created specifically for the survey site, and I never input my real phone number.

Please note, Overall Earnings = $386.91. I signed up for this on July 5, 2015. That's approximately 3 months of activity. I'm assuming you either didn't figure out the best surveys to complete or you only invested a few minutes of time.

PS, Swagbucks doesn't have nearly as many opportunities as InstaGC: http://www.instagc.com/732296 , I've tried both.

Here's a screenshot of my actual earnings from InstaGC, courtesy my cell phone:

Wow! That is awesome! I just signed up under the link in the original post and have already made about $8 in a couple hours watching TV. Pretty easy site to use. Thanks for the suggestion!

Stating the obvious: selling on craigslist or eBay.

For those using instaGC, any tips on being more efficient? I use the "recommended" tab and hit the instagc recommendations. More often than not while I am filling out the survey after a particular question the next window will tell me "Sorry you do not qualify to complete this survey." And These are surveys that based on the description I think I should be qualifying for. Leave race/income as "prefer not to answer" maybe? Not sure what else it could be

There is a tab under "Recommended" for surveys - those are usually higher paying and you get 1 pt for disqualifications, up to 5 a day. Also, there is a ticker in the bottom right corner that shows what's crediting for people. There are many different areas of the site that offer surveys. There is a guide on InstaGC that provides some guidance on how to earn - http://www.instagc.com/guides/introduction - very helpful.

Some offers are worth doing since they only require an email submit - create a new email address so you don't get a ton of spam. Once you redeem $50 on the site, it activates the chat box which also gives some great tips for what is working for people and where to go to next. You can reach $50 in less than a month if you work at it - just a few dollars a day.

I focus mostly on the surveys for the most rewards. Go to recommended, surveys then sort by ratings. Those tend to give you good rewards.
It's also easy to watch the short videos.

Thank you for mentioning this site. I've tried a few in the past, but this one has way more options. Glad I signed up!

I do the MyPoints and only complete the ones that just require me to go to a site and/or do a survey. I never do anything that costs money or something I have to buy (unless I'm going to buy anyway - groupon, Living Social, etc). I get gift cards and then redeem for gifts or extras.

Question - has anyone done the trials on InstaGC? They are worth a lot of money and I'm curious if it's worth it.

I've done some of the trials. You just have to be careful to cancel before they charge your credit card. Or you can do a prepaid card for some so it can't keep charging you. Some can pay out really well, but you have to be willing to argue sometimes to cancel.

The other offers that don't require a credit card are easier in my opinion.
