Yes, I agree! I don't really like cake, and I do not want to find it when I cut into an ice cream cake.

Whole Foods has an ice cream cake in their freezer section that is gluten-free. My family isn't GF, but I ended up getting it because I needed a last-minute cake over the summer. It wasn't great. Pretty dry. And they are small cakes, maybe 7"-9" in diameter. But if you really need one, that's an option.
