And, it turns out Gibson knowingly and repeatedly violated laws.

As for the "armed" part maybe you forgot that it's routine for most law enforcement officials to carry weapons. There were in fact laws being broken, and law enforcement is who deals with those things. But please, don't insult our intelligence by trying to insinuate they came rappelling into the Gibson factory with SWAT teams, machine guns, flash bangs, tear gas and battering rams. It was nothing like that.
