The NIH Children's Inn info here: http://childrensinn.org/
I don't think they take used items mainly because the Inn services sick children that have medical condition so their immunity is not already compromised. They do not want to compromise their health further with used items that might not be clean. Donate to a public library that is not in a wealthy neighborhood. |

OP here - I'm looking for a specific place someone might know where I can easily drop off these stacks of great puzzles. The NIH is great but since these are used not for this thread.
I can easily drive them over to our local school or library but I know the local ones here are not in need. If someone knows of a specific place (not being vague with "library?" suggestions) that needs them please let me know. I can't believe how hard it is to find a good home for them! |
| Hi just wanted to update this thread -- I decided to give them to A Wider Circle. They were very appreciative of the puzzles and it sounds like they will go to great use. I was also able to donate kitchen goods, women's work clothes and new toiletries at the same time. Highly recommend them. |
That's great, OP! |
What about Martha's Table? They wouldn't accept them? |
| Wider Circle picked up. |
