Were you able to negotiate a more flexible work schedule after maternity leave?

I'm a manager. I proposed working from home 1-2 days/week. My boss said no, but countered with working 4 days/week at 80% pay. I thought about it for a few days, but said no, because I would still have 5 days worth of work to do in those 4 days, and like PP would end up working at home part of that day off.
