I think this just goes to show that everyone has their own preferences and needs when it comes to a nurse. I only interacted with Jan during monitoring and retrievals and I found her tone and bedside manner really disconcerting. DH also refuses to work with her when he's involved. Glad she is a good fit for some! And that there are a variety of nurses to suit the variety of patients

I thought Jan was awful. She was incompetent with blood draws and got flustered easily. I also found her a little Jekyll and Hyde-ish (one minute she was snippy and the next, inappropriately touching my hair to say how nice it was). Loved, loved Andrea. |
| So how many nurses are at GW now? I got the impression there were only 3? One for each doctor? But judging from all the names- Jan (who someone did say was out on medical leave), Donna, Reisha, Etc its seems there are more? |
I think that Reisha is gone? She was my nurse from Sept 2014-May 2015. But I have heard she left since... |

Reisha is gone. Ifeanyi is another nurse. She's fine in terms of manner, but, as others have posted, I've experienced a few slip ups, miscommunications, etc. Sometimes I think the problems result not from the nurses, but from the doctor's schedules (i.e. the nurses may not be getting all of the info they need in a timely manner).

| So FYI the current nurses are Christine, Jennifer, Jan, Ifeanyi, and Donna, in case anyone is in the same boat as me and wants to make a change. Thanks everyone! |
