| Definitely pay to get the doors stripped. It's about the same as the price of new doors, but the old doors are so much better. |

12:48 here. The stripping place I had in mind is Chemstrip, chemstripmd.com. They quoted me $150-$180 per door for stripping (more for my doors because they are single panel) but said they would come down to maybe $140/door for 8 doors.
If there is a $100/door place in the DC area, I would love to know about it. I would not try to replace with Community Forklift doors--doubt you will find enough of the same doors in the right size. |
