Working with an EOTP non-charter school with limited parent involvement.
Easy money is Box Tops for Education. Have a point person who sends the sheets out each month and collections the tops, tallies them, and submits them. Make it a contest among the grades and watch the money pour in.

I have also seen a lot of success with art auctions. Work with the art teacher to have a real art auction that can be hosted by one of the parent's jobs. So if Cindy's dad or mom works for Bank of America the auction can be at B of A the bankers and their guests are among the people bidding on the art.
