A few more good small preschool options- not sure of fees anymore

Sleepy Hollow Preschool off Columbia Pike- this is a coop and a gem of a school

We were at JCCNV for a few years. The pros listed are definitely true, but there are some considerations beyond the holiday schedules

-some teachers are really tenured and some really aren't, try to see what your classroom assignment would be
-with all of the activities, this is a really busy building with lots of movement for the kids- that works well for some and not for others
-playgrounds, while nice, have an artificial surface so all nature exposure happens on walks not recess
-the Reggio curriculum is great- and when done well it is amazing to see, but the JCC is more of a daycare than a preschool in the early years especially

-the summer camps are really great

They are building an outdoor classroom. But I'm not sure I'd expect nature education to happen on a playground anyway.
