i (non-member) often go with my mom (member) and they told us that we need to make it ONE purchase on her card (we were separating our stuff and doing two purchases with the same credit card to keep stuff on separate checks). they told us to ask for a sub-total whenever her stuff had cleared the belt to separate the total costs into 2, but that they would no longer allow us to do 2 purchases.

Go to customer service and ask for a guest pass. I did that when I wasn't a member And was thinking about joining.

Wheaton has always let me go under my friends account, scanning her membership card for her transaction and then my transaction. I used my own debit card to pay for my items.

I just did this. I am a member, my friend is not. They used my Costco card for both transactions but she was able to pay with her own debit card for her order. The cashier did not act as though this was unusual.

Thanks everyone. They let us do two separate transactions on one card, it sounds like this varies by location and maybe cashier.

I pay my membership fee. You are basically stealing from me and other members when you try to find ways around the rules and a way for your non member friend to shop there.
