Do not bring two families to any 'beaches' in Texas or Louisiana or Mississippi. That is not something you'd feel good about paying for and spending all that time & effort getting to. The beaches in the Florida panhandle are worth traveling for and are very family-friendly and affordable. Destin & Ft. Walton Beach, FL and Orange Beach, AL are all a GO.
