I think that's easier said than done. I wouldn't WANT to hold something like that against my husband but I would be upset. Maybe it's something primal but I find the fact that we created a person together something incredibly special and bonding. It kind of loses its magic when your husband has done that with someone else IMO.

Let us know how you feel when you're on your second marriage and your DH #2 has kids from a previous marriage.

I think she spoke honestly about what many women feel. I know several single friends who feel that way. And several married friends who have said that their husbands absolutely didn't feel the same excitement/angst as the wife because the husband had already been there. It's a primal feeling.

Tying into the thread about Elliot in the Morning, Gavin was in the studio earlier this year (March). Elliot commented this morning on how deeply Gavin spoke about Gwen and their relationship. I listened that day and also was pretty touched by Gavin's words. Can't remember them exactly, but it didn't sound like the typical Facebook BS of "My spouse is the best!!!"

I'm bummed about this news. Not bummed about Will/Jada (if it's true) or Ben/Jen or even Blake/Miranda. But this one bums me out.

She seemed way more into him than the opposite. That's how the Affleck-Garner relationship blew apart, IMO.

Shelton-Lambert was surprising that it didn't last a little longer because they both went into the marriage seemingly accepting the other one was not a lifer.

Smith-Pinkett will continue because it's more like a strange business arrangement than relationship, and they're both comfortable.

He filed his response when she filed the papers. It was clearly coordinated. TMZ says he is worth $35 million, so it's not like he'll be destitute after the divorce.

It is in CA. There was no prenup and it was over 10 years so the assets are divided 50/50.

Also you're missing an important fact- Gavin said he wouldn't have children, didn't want them, etc. Then it turned out that he had this daughter in hiding for years while telling Gwen sorry no kids. That's why even though they've been together for over 20 years, married for almost 13 their oldest is 9. They only had kids together once Daisy (Gavin's daughter) came into the picture.
