Tollefson swim team

We have been happy at Toll. It is not a pressure cooker but technically focused.

Talk to some of the RMSC parents. I have and some have multiple kids at different programs or have tried other programs. The sense I get is it is very coach dependent and most aren't happy fully anywhere and stay with RMSC and do private lessons with the money difference. If they switch and are happy with one coach, usually that one doesn't stay long and they are stuck as its hard to get back into RMSC depending on availability. Some of the other teams are 3-4 times as much so you can spend that on private which gives the 1-1 stroke. I wish RMSC would spend more time on stroke and the coaches would get in the water and show vs. yell from the side of the pool when the kids either can't hear or don't want to or need more help then someone screaming from the side of the pool.

My kids are really happy with Toll. They are not the worlds best swimmers but they really like to go. Very supportive and encouraging.

I thought I would share my kids experience at Tollefson. Our endurance instructor is a high student. Given Tollefson charges way more than other swim practices in the area we were expecting a mature coach. We ended up feeling that while it is a well marketed place it provides value for the money to a very limited extend and are thinking of leaving. I would be curious to here from others before we make our final decision.
