Not really. My older child is at the age for sleepovers. one of his close friends has parents I would totally trust, but there is a gun in the house and both our boys are impulsive and curious. Another close friends has parents who are obsessively competitive so I would not want my kid under a microscope having to answer questions about his grades, extracurricular, etc through the evening. We don't do playdates with them either anymore.
