Candy corn in giant?!?!

It's only because they have nothing else to look forward to, and they have empty space, so why not? If there were Labor Day-themed candy in our country, they would have that.

Get over it, it's not a real problem.

It's like this in every city I've lived in. Valentine's stuff starts going on display the day after Christmas. Bathing suits start going on display shortly after. Summer stuff starts getting marked down in June and fall stuff and back to school supplies starts going on display in June/July. Christmas in September/October. I find it so very depressing, and yes, Target is the absolute worst with this. I avoid shopping there because of this. Why can't we enjoy holidays/seasons while they are actually happening?

You must be fun at parties.

I'm not a big fan of Halloween but I love candy corn and pumpkin flavored stuff. Can't wait for the Trader Joe's pumpkin extravaganza!

Do you have to shuck the candy corn in the store?

If it didn't sell they wouldn't stock it.

And Williams Sonoma sent me their "pumpkin edition" email with all things Halloween and Tgiving.

Seriously? It's August 2nd.

WHY the rush? Can someone explain to me?

You do know they sell candy corn year round at Giant, Safeway, etc...

I noticed that too at Giant. Bizarre. In September we'll have the Christmas/Hannukkah/New Years stuff out. Madness.
