Personally, Jeff, I think it's a crock of shit that you closed that thread, but people can openly talk about slitting their wrists, cheating on their spouses, sex positions, period sex, threesomes, shitty things rich people do, full bushes vs. shaved, etc., but, you allow those to go on and on? I get deleting comments about Danni's kids' names or other personal information she hasn't revealed, but to shut down the entire thread seems a bit ridiculous and reactive. The Kane Show thread has been the top trending thread on DCUM for a YEAR. But today, you decide to shut it down? For what? It looks a lot like a temper tantrum to me. You admitted yourself that you know nothing about TKS. Well let me be the first to tell you, people associated with TKS are relevant in Kane Show discussions. Especially when certain people (Danni, Sarah...), make it a point to still, frequently (even if vaguely) bring up TKS. Hell, in an interview posted THIS WEEK, Danni's time on the Kane Show was referenced in the first paragraph.

I find it difficult to continue to frequent DCUM at all after this (yes, I know you don't care). I thought this forum was about free speech, but all you've done today is stifle it.

I explained pretty clearly how you guys could keep discussing both the Kane Show and Danni. But, nobody wanted to hear it. The temper tantrums were by those who insisted they had some sort of inalienable right to cyberstalk whomever they wanted. That right just got alienated.

The discussion had devolved to be nothing but picking apart a single individual who has not been on the show for months. Many of the posts dealt with very personal aspects of that individual's life, some were sexual in nature, and many were very rude. I have been getting constant reports about messages in the thread and been removing posts almost daily. I simply asked that they talk about the show, not a former member. I suggested that they start a separate thread about that former cast member and keep the content respectable. Those suggestions were apparently not acceptable. Given the choice of being forced to diligently watch a thread that gets many posts per hour or shut the entire thing down, I chose the second.
