portico on our 10 year old home collapsed. Insurance company refusing to pay for repairs

I can recommend Javier Miranda contracting. They recently replaced the failing columns on our portico and a did ton of other work around the house to get it ready for sale. Reasonable, show up when they're supposed to and got the job done. I lament the fact that in the 10 plus years in the house, we never had anyone as good/reliable/inexpensive.

There is no insurance company on earth who would pay for that. It's general a home maintenance issue.
+1 on finding a new contractor. The ones who try to bill to insurance are going to jack up the price big time.
