word of caution: if you have a hard time sleeping on planes, this makes it worse. i just end up exhausted and too uncomfortable to fall asleep. unless you're in first-class and have a ton of room and fully reclining seat. |

You'll probably sleep through most of it. Bring some Ibuprofin in case you get a headache. I try to have some saline nasal spray, too, since I get congested.
Clean undies on a flight are never a bad idea, and they pack up small. A pashmina or something in case you get cold. Have a couple of books downloaded on your Kindle. Bring a magazine in case you get bored with those. As long as you have streaming movies on the flight you should be able to pass the time without any trouble. |
| Lots of good suggestions so far. I usually bring a huge wrap that can function as a soft, warm blanket or as a wrap/scarf once I land (although I'll bring it just for the plane ride this time of year). Also, leg warmers. You can pull them over your feet or take them off easily depending on temperature. I bring an eReader and also a paper book in case it dies. Also face wipes for mid-flight especially if you aren't on an aisle. |
