You have the luxury of working at home. Brush your hair and have some shirts that aren't full of holes. Not a big deal.


I agree. Our firm has offices all over the country and a lot of remote employees, so we use video chat all the time. Seeing body language/facial expressions makes communication much more effective. It's particularly great for meetings of multiple people. Before we had video chat, people dialing in had a hard time getting a word in (or were forgotten altogether); being seen makes a huge difference.
