Is no one else tired of pain porn? The effort these and other people go to making a spectacle of the injured and less fortunate has grown old. These people are just a special and more sick form of narcisism

Have you actually looked at the Tripp Halstead page? I think if you asked Stacy Halstead, she would say she is very fortunate. I know what you mean, although I've never heard the term "pain porn." I don't see the Halsteads that way.

Yes, please go look at their page ASAP; they are the antithesis of "pain porn". They've taken a horrible situation and rarely speak about the negatives at all. Theirs is a story of how they continue to live a "normal" life while having a child who is far from ever having a "normal" life. They bring positive attention to other causes as well. I understand too, to what you're referring, but this no way the same.
