This is a play school, not a preschool. Yes, the standards are lower, because it is not supposed to be academically-based. But, there are folks who keep worrying about getting in no where. This program does prepare kids for the socialization aspects of a preschool program. I found it invaluable for getting my kids ready for school the next year, in that they were already used to a routine, they understood what circle time was, and they learned some rudimentary colors and letters. It's not day care (it's not full-time), but it's a bargain ($10 per day per kid), and if you are a parent looking for something organized for your 2-3 year old, and your 3 year old is shut out everywhere, this is a nice backup. That was the original question.
