Why does the Rule of law no longer apply to Christians?

Anonymous
Oh, so only those Supreme Court decisions with which you agree are to be followed?
Anonymous
Although I don't agree with Heller, and think Scalia's tortured interpretation if "bear arms" is hocus-pocus bullshit that could get me or my children killed, I would be compelled to follow the decision if I was a public official. I therefore would resign rather than issue a gun license or concealed carry permit in DC. That's how things are supposed to work under our constitutional form of representative democracy. I don't get to decide which laws do and do not apply to me.

Do you not believe they are real? Where are you from?
Guns are real. I believe in them. And I wouldn't sign the concealed carry permit either

Yeah! F that pesky 2nd Amemdment! Your special feelings trump all.

God commanded us "Thou Shalt Not Kill" - apparently the NRA trumps God himself. Or, apparently Christian gun owners are charlatans and frauds.

Or, you are a disingenuous provocateur.

Can we get rid of Obama now? He's refusing to enforce immigration law.

Well why not, since the Christian lawmakers are trying to ignore the 1st?

Obama recently stated: "religions don't kill people. People kill people."

He forgot to add guns. The guns just jump up on their own and do the kill in'. -because it would be wrong to hold the individuals wielding the gun responsible.

Well-ordered militias are welcome.

What is the definition of a militia?

A fighting force raised from the civilian population.

Where would civilian raised militias procure weapons?

Why, silly, they'd use THEIR OWN.

Boom that just happened.

The first actually protects them. Who's violating who's rights?

If your comment had any real meaning I would have responded to it. Hence, what I wrote was the best response...you are a disingenuous provocateur. For someone like you the odds of having a meaningful dialogue or debate are so slim as to be non existent.

You need to look to history to understand what our founding fathers actually meant by 'militia' - it *wasn't* Obama-hating Tea Party Jim Bob and his AK-47. The founding Fathers defined what they meant in the Militia Act, which was passed in Congress 6 months after the ratification of the 2nd Amendment, and it's not at all what the NRA or Alex Jones conspiracy theorists would have you believe about defending against our own government, nor is it about personal self defense.
