Definitely a good point. Our starting PTO amount is 4 weeks so for most people it has been reasonable. But it definitely is a tough pill for some to swallow. |
Why would you tell them this?
no one is under compensated: you earn what you deserve. Feel undercompensated? Get another company to pay you what you think you deserve. |

OP here. Lessoned learned about telling my current compensation. And yes, that is one of the factors that is prompting my job search. I know I deserve better pay and will select my next job with compensation as a major point of consideration. |

Those are the organizations for whom you don't want to work. Rigidity in comp means rigidity in everything. |
