he loves cherry pie! And DD once saw him devour one (which is hilarious in it's own right b/c he looks like Flat Stanley) and that memory stuck with her. Pure joy and happiness. |

| OP here - thanks for the farmers market suggestion. DD and I walked to Van Ness farmers market today and bought tart cherries! Thank goodness we have a pitter. That's a lot of cherries. |

| Go buy some more for freezer! A cherry pie at New Years is a tradition in my housE. I did see that butlers orchard is picking this weekend. They also are taking orders for next two weekends. |
