I'm going to be a cynic and say someone who was depressed to the point of suicide wouldn't post such trollish threads. Especially mentioning a 2yo that may be in danger on a mommy board - talk about inflammatory.
Don't get too sucked in or next we'll get a post from her "friend" telling us about her funeral arrangements. Pretty classic attention seeking internet behavior. |

I have a suicidal nephew - the problem is that it's all attention-seeking until somebody dies. This is why suicide attempts, and the before and after, are so destructive to family members. Some don't take it seriously, some do, some feel genuinely strung along and manipulated, it's very, very, emotionally racking. |

| Op's posts ring pretty true to me. The radio silence now makes me think she's passed out; she did say her husband was on the way home, so we can guess the toddler is safe. As for OP, I guess we can only hope she didn't take enough pills to harm herself. I don't know if her Dh would be able to tell she took anything or just assume she's in a drunken stupor. In any case, I think it's pretty terrible and really hope she can get the help she needs. |

Let Jeff decide. But people do weird things. Last week in Arlington the police got a call from a therapist who said she had a patient threatening to kill herself. When they got there, the woman had shot herself in the chest out in the street.
People cry for help in a lot of ways. OP- get yourself to a hospital if you're still reading this. |
