Visi vs Holy Cross

I have two nieces, one at HC and one at Visi. They shadowed and liked both schools but ultimately one chose Visi and the other HC. My niece at Visi is happy and loves her school. The one at HC does not like her school and wants to transfer out. According to her, they have cliques and you have to belong to a clique in order to be happy or else you'll be spending a lot of time by yourself especially if there's only a few of you or only you from your former school. I believe the academy rigor is different but comparable.

Can you elaborate from personal experience? Our DD is looking at SR and loved the open house. Liked Visitation too but found it a little staid. Definitely did not like AHC.

Can you elaborate on your dislikes of AHC? It is coming to the top of my DD's list of potential schools to apply to in the fall from the website, etc.

She didn't care for the feeling from the girls at AHC. Not as friendly and engaged as SR and Visitation. She also was not as impressed with the faculty presentations and the extracurricular programs. Again, this was just the open house. She still needs to shadow in the fall at all of them.

She shadowed once during the application process and then again after she was admitted but before decision/deposit was due.
