How soon to look for daycare/preschool for 2.5 year old?

I would start a new thread. People will see this is old and not open. Also if you put the location in the title you might have more luck.

If you want full time, I have heard good things about Wonders and Children in the Shoe by BCC high school.

That age is too young. Children needs to learn to be empathetic, socialize in small groups where they get more attention.

3 or 4 is the best age for prek.

For those neighborhoods, you might also want to check out School for Friends too, it's near Dupont and goes from 12M - 5Y. Super sweet.

Daycares is best as early as 3 months old.
Preschool is at 3 or 4 years old.

Young children needs to play, be a child, learn good manners, first they need to learn to control their emotions, then academics.

Preschool isn't a requirement for kindergarten
