All my shots, every single one, were sub cu. I can not handle intramuscular shots, too painful for me. The effectiveness is the same between the two but sub cutaneous shots were much much less painful. I did them in the abdomen and because there's more fat there, I felt virtually nothing.

I got pg at the age of 42 doing this.

OP here. I did my "trigger" on Friday and had sex Friday night, Saturday night and last night. We also had sex Thursday night and I wasn't aware that I would be triggering on Friday. The nurse told me that based on my bloodwork (done Friday) that I would ovulate within 12 hours. I am hoping that this is enough because we are tired. My husband doesn't have any sperm count/motility issues but he does take antidepressants, which make it difficult to do it every day. He usually needs a day or two to rebuild sensitivity.

I am hoping that this is enough. I am keeping my fingers crossed and trying not to drive myself crazy analyzing every twinge in my belly.
