Jealous much? There are reasons why CS is the way it's been - and you're clearly not privy to them. FYI, CS will be renovated in 2019 and will triple its enrollment. Stick that in your pipe and smoke it.

Where are you getting your numbers from, because according to MCPS, the projected enrollment by 2019 will be about the same as it is now, which is about 120 kids under enrolled. For the next 5 yrs the projections are pretty stagnant.

Why the hate? Seriously? The school community is friendly. Families want more students at the school. All the neighboring schools are overcrowded so they would have nowhere to place the kids if they closed. The principal has tried to get students from neighborhoods nearby that are zoned for Ritchie Park. He also approved COSAs all the time. Be mad at the school board if you wish, but don't blame the school community.

My source is the renovation plans. During the 2019 school year, the kids will attend Grosvenor Elementary (actually for 14 months).

Marty! I’ve just come from the year 2049. It’s now scheduled for 2053, right after Crown High School gets finished in 2052.
