San Francisco or Seattle?

seattle's rainy season is November 1st - 4th of July.

August is beautiful in Seattle!!

Plus you wouldn't have to fly to Seattle--you could take Amtrak .

I prefer SF but I also LOVE Seattle and for a Vancouver trip it makes more sense plus I think SF is a city you might get to another time.. Seattle isn't as much of a destination - although we have vacationed there and the San juan islands many times- beautiful and the PPs are right.. August weather is Seattle is great!
